Apple has quietly improved battery insights in iOS 26 with a subtle yet super useful tweak — charging time estimates are now shown right in the Battery section.
In iOS 26 Developer Beta 1, the Battery screen now shows how long it’ll take to reach 80% and then 100%, helping you plan your unplug times better. As seen in the screenshot, 80% will be hit in 11 minutes, while a full charge will take 45 minutes.

This change is especially handy for users who prefer optimized charging but occasionally want to know full-charge timelines too. Redditor u/norpadon first highlighted this feature, and many like u/DjSonicx praised it as “long overdue.” Find this new info under Settings > Battery when charging.
This thoughtful little iOS 26 feature might not grab headlines, but it’s the kind of utility users have quietly wished for. Definitely worth checking out.
