Samsung’s latest flagship devices, the Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e, come with top of the line camera hardware.
Both S10 and S10+ come with three cameras on the back — a 12-megapixel primary shooter, an ultra-wide 16-megapixel camera, and a 12-megapixel telephoto. Coming to selfies, the S10 comes with a single 10MP shooter, while the S10+ packs an additional 8MP RGB depth camera.
S10e, on the other hand, doesn’t pack the telephoto lens and comes with a standard 10-megapixel front-facing camera.
Combining everything, S10 looks like a perfect package, but limited functionality in the phones’ native camera app has left users wanting for more. Samsung’s camera app doesn’t allow users to zoom in/out in the selfie mode, and by the looks of it, the company doesn’t intend to add that feature anytime soon.
So, if you’re scratching your head trying to figure out a way to zoom in the selfie mode, give yourself a break and take a look at two of the most popular camera apps on Google Play — Cymera and Footej Camera. Both are available for free and offer front-camera zoom and bunch of cool filters.

So, how do you solve this problem?
How to fix cannot zoom problem with Galaxy S10 front camera
Well, you simply cannot have the zoom-in feature on your phone with Samsung’s camera’s app. But you can get the feature using any 3rd-party camera app from the Play Store, including the Google Camera.
If you ask for suggestions, above are two options (apps) from the Play Store that you can try.
Download either or both of them, as you wish.
Once installed, open the app, switch to the front camera, and now try the pinch-in gesture. The camera will zoom out as you wish.
