Halo: Campaign Evolved greatly expands the classic Skull system by hiding three collectibles in every campaign mission. Instead of simply serving as achievements, each Skull unlocks a modifier that can be enabled before starting a mission or combined inside Campaign Remix mode. Some increase the challenge, others create hilarious gameplay scenarios, while several completely change how enemies, physics, visuals, or player abilities work.

How Skulls work in Halo: Campaign Evolved

Unlike previous Halo games, Skulls unlock immediately after being collected and remain permanently available across all saves. They can be enabled individually or combined before replaying missions.
