Google has been in the smartphone business for long enough for us to be able to gauge the default colors of their hardware each year.  Its color scheme has usually been White or Black with an additional third color as a quintessential Google surprise.

On their first try, they went ahead with a third color quirkily named ‘Really Blue’. The Pixel 2 had another variant of blue called ‘Kinda Blue’ whereas the Pixel 3 has a color called ‘Not Pink’.

Now, WinFuture has come up with a leak suggesting that in addition to Black and White colors, the new Pixels will have a color called ‘Iris’ which we presume to be something with a Purple tinge to it.

As many may have read before, there are allegedly a couple of mid-range Pixels in the works. These devices have tentatively been called Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, but they were initially predicted to come as Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL. The Pixel 3a is said to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a rumored 5.6-inch 1080p display while the 3a XL should have a Snapdragon 710 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a display of about 6 inches diagonally. Both devices are inferior to the Pixel 3 duo currently on the market and hence should be retailing for an amount lower than the base price of $799 (currently discounted by $200).

Apparently, the retailers who’ve leaked this information have listed the 64GB Pixel 3a at 450 euros, which is roughly $505. We’re still not sure about the authenticity of the stated price but this is amongst the first price leaks we have come across for the mid-range pixels even with all the rumors we’ve heard recently. There are even rumors of a device with 32GB storage but it is likely it won’t hit the shores of Europe anytime soon.

We still have the pleasure of looking forward to Google’s idea of a mid-range Android phone, especially in a market as cut-throat as it is.
