What to know
- Gemini is preparing controls for deleting individual entries in Remembered items.
- New guidance explains that the list holds items you have asked Gemini to remember.
- Google app 17.72.13 adds deletion menu labels, confirmation text, and a dedicated error message.
Gemini’s Remembered items screen has already been reported publicly. The new finding in Google app 17.72.13 concerns how you manage those entries: we found new strings explaining what belongs in the list and outlining a deletion flow for individual items.
The empty state explains what appears here
The new browsing guidance gives Remembered items a straightforward description: this is where items you have explicitly asked Gemini to remember will appear. The empty-state message spells that out directly:
Individual items get deletion actions and confirmation text
The deletion resources distinguish between a “Delete item” menu action and a “Delete” action associated with an item’s detail view. A separate accessibility label identifies the control for showing a remembered item’s options.
The accompanying dialog asks you to confirm deletion, with Cancel and Delete buttons. Google has also added a specific failure message that tells you to try again later if removing an item goes wrong.
These controls would give you a way to remove a specific remembered detail when you no longer want it in the list.
