Where everyone was worried, Samsung would have a difficult time getting customers to buy its flagship device, Samsung Galaxy S8, due to the last year’s episode with Note 7, which caught fire due to the fault in the battery, Samsung has taken everybody by surprise by revealing the sale figures.

Just a few days before Galaxy S8 was announced on March 29 this year, Samsung said it would set up Galaxy S8 experience stores in South Korea where people can test the Galaxy S8 device. Now Samsung has revealed that nearly 3 million people visited the experience stores in South Korea, which tells us that people still love Samsung.

To vouch for that, another figure reveals that Samsung has sold one million units of Galaxy S8 in South Korea alone, since its official release on April 21st. Not only that, Galaxy S8 has broken the record of the number of days to reach million unit sales. Where Galaxy S6 took 75 days, Galaxy S7 74 days, Galaxy S8 has achieved the remarkable feat in just 38 days.

Samsung Galaxy S8 flaunts 5.8-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD+ display coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. It is powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC and runs on 3,000mAh battery. Further, it packs in dual 12MP rear camera with 4K video recording capability and 8MP front camera.
