Use any fast car, fast-travel to a highway or long straight, hold high speed until the Speed Skill pop-up appears, then repeat until you have earned three for the Autumn Daily Challenge.
The Autumn Festival Playlist rotates in a fresh set of daily challenges, and one of them wants three Speed Skills. It sounds like it might need a race or a specific event, but it is one of the quickest dailies to clear — a fast car and any highway is all it takes.
The fastest way to bank three Speed Skills

This Daily Challenge only asks for three Speed Skills, and you never have to enter a race to finish it. Grab something fast, fast-travel to any highway, and hold your speed until the pop-up lands — do that three times and the challenge ticks over.
If your car is quick enough, you will see faster variants such as Awesome Speed or Ultimate Speed pop up instead of the plain Speed notification, especially the moment you get a hypercar up to full pace.
How to earn Speed Skills in Forza Horizon 6
Pick a fast car, get out onto an open highway, and hold high speed until each Speed Skill registers — three of them clears the daily.
STEP 1/5
Grab a fast car

Any high-top-speed car works, so take the quickest thing in your garage — a hypercar makes the pop-up almost instant.
STEP 2/5
Fast-travel to any highway

It does not matter which one; the map has plenty of long highway stretches, and any of them gives you room to build speed.
STEP 3/5
Accelerate past 200 km/h

Key Floor the throttle down a clear straight and hold high speed — past around 200 km/h the Speed Skill reliably registers.
STEP 4/5
Watch for the Speed Skill pop-up

The notification appears on screen the instant the game scores it; a very fast car may show Awesome or Ultimate Speed instead.
STEP 5/5
Reset and repeat for three total

Ease off or let the skill chain bank, then build speed again so each Speed Skill registers separately until you have three.
Use your fastest car — the quicker you cross the speed threshold, the sooner each Speed Skill pops, and a hypercar can bank all three in under a minute.

What a Speed Skill actually is
A Speed Skill fires when you hold high speed for a short stretch of road, stacking into your skill chain alongside moves like drifts, drafting, and near-misses. The in-game description points to roughly 160 km/h as the floor for the basic Speed tier, though the exact trigger speed is not stated cleanly, so treat it as a practical target rather than a hard number — sit comfortably above it and the skill pops.
Go faster and the game upgrades the reward through Great Speed, Awesome Speed, and finally Ultimate Speed once the car is quick enough to sustain the pace.
Speed skill not improving fix
If the counter is not moving, the usual culprit is simply not going fast enough — a slow car that never holds the threshold will not trigger anything. Crashing or braking a beat before the pop-up lands cancels it too, so keep the run clean until you actually see the notification. And because each Speed Skill has to register on its own, blasting down one endless straight without letting the chain settle can blur several attempts into nothing; ease off between runs so the game counts three separate skills.

The other trap is old advice. Earlier Autumn guides tied Speed Skills to the Mechanics of Emotion weekly, which made you earn four of them inside Road Circuit races while driving the 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C. That was a different, race-locked objective — for this Daily Challenge you do not need that car, a circuit, or four skills, so ignore any instructions pushing you into events.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do Awesome Speed or Ultimate Speed pop-ups count for the daily?
Yes. Those are just higher-value tiers of the same Speed Skill, earned by going faster, so every one of them ticks the daily up toward three. There is no need to force a plain Speed pop-up specifically — a faster variant is worth exactly as much toward the count.
Do you need to earn them in a race?
No. For this Daily Challenge, free-roam highway runs are enough, and you can clear all three without entering a single event.
What car should you use if your current one cannot trigger the skill easily?
Swap to a faster A or S1-class car, or a hypercar if you have one. Anything that comfortably clears roughly 200 km/h on a straight will trigger the skill; underpowered cars struggle to hold the speed long enough for it to register.
