To complete Taking The Rains, get into any Lamborghini and chain drifts, Wreckage, and small jumps until the skill feed reaches Great Skill Chain. Around 6,000 skill-chain points is the on-screen target to aim for.
Taking The Rains is a short free-roam daily in Forza Horizon 6, so you do not need to enter an event or win a race. Keep one skill chain alive in the right car until the game upgrades it to the Great Skill Chain tier.
The cleanest route is an open area with breakables. Drifts, Wreckage, and little hops are enough as long as you keep feeding the timer.
Taking The Rains daily reward

The Spring daily asks you to earn a Great Skill Chain in any Lamborghini. Once it registers, the challenge completes in the Festival Playlist and pays 1 Playlist point and 5,000 Credits.
KEY!
Because this is a daily challenge, keep the run focused. Pick the car, build the chain in free roam, and stop once the objective pops.
Lamborghini setup for an easy chain
| Choice | Use |
|---|---|
| Required car | Any Lamborghini |
| Recommended area | Wide space with fences, signs, vegetation, or other breakables |
| Useful skills | Drift, Wreckage, and small Air skills |
| Completion cue | The skill feed shows Great Skill Chain |
Start by switching into a Lamborghini before you begin earning skills. The Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 works well, but any Lamborghini completes Taking The Rains.
Choose a place where you can slide, clip breakables, and recover without needing huge speed. Open runways, forest edges, estates with fences, and other object-rich spaces are better than narrow roads because they give you more ways to refresh the chain safely.
Moderate speed is enough here. Going too fast makes hard impacts more common, and one bad crash can erase the chain before it reaches the tier you need.
Turn away from walls and traffic once the chain starts; small breakables are safer than chasing speed for a bigger-looking run.

Mistakes that break Taking The Rains
A hard crash is the fastest way to lose the attempt. Clipping fences and vegetation is fine, but slamming into a wall, traffic, or a heavy obstacle can wipe the active chain before it climbs high enough.
The other easy miss is letting the skill timer run out too early. If the game banks the chain before the feed reaches Great Skill Chain, start another chain.
Also make sure the chain is being built in a Lamborghini. A Great Skill Chain in another manufacturer’s car will help with Skill Points, but it will not satisfy this daily.
Do not stop at a smaller chain label just because the score is rising. Keep adding drifts, Wreckage, or small jumps until the Great tier actually appears in the feed.
Faster chain builders for this daily

If one of your Lamborghinis has Car Mastery perks that raise skill multipliers, use that car to climb chain tiers faster. The objective still comes down to the same thing: stay in a Lamborghini and keep one chain alive.
Destruction-heavy routes speed this up. Bamboo forests, estate fences, runway edges, and other breakable-object areas let you mix Wreckage into gentle drifts without turning the daily into a long Skill Point farm.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Taking The Rains require the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4?
No. Taking The Rains accepts any Lamborghini; the Huracán LP 610-4 is simply an easy pick if it is already in your garage.
Can a stock Lamborghini complete Taking The Rains?
Yes. A stock Lamborghini can reach Great Skill Chain as long as you keep linking skills without crashing or banking too early. Tuning and mastery perks only make the chain easier to build.
Does the older Huracán Weekly Challenge still matter?
No, not as a playlist requirement for this daily. That older late-July Weekly used the 2014 Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4, two laps of the Soni Time Attack circuit near Hirosaki Castle, and a photo objective; for Taking The Rains, only the shared skill-chain technique is useful.
