Downgrade Honor 6 from Marshmallow 6.0 to Lollipop 5.1.1 easily with firmware

If you are not finding the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on your Honor 6 cool, and think the days of Lollipop is exactly what you and your Honor 6 needs, then Huawei is extending a hand to help you out.

There is a rollback package firmware — build C900B800 — available for the Honor 6, one each for UK and Italy. When installed, this will bring your Honor 6 back to Lollipop: 5.1.1 on Italian Honor 6, while 5.1 on UK one.

Download the rollback packages from below.

To install, extract the downloaded rollback package, and get the Update.APP from it (extract again if you don’t get it). Now, create a folder called dload on your Honor 6 if it’s not there already, and transfer the UPDATE.APP file to dload folder. Now, disconnect the phone from PC, and look for the ‘Local update’ under Menu, under Update option in Settings.

Tap on Local update. Device will look for your downgrade package, and when you confirm, it will install it. That’s it, you successfully downgraded from Marshmallow to Lollipop, build H60-L04_C900B800.
