QUICK ANSWER
Resurrection Incense is an early obtainable Koo Skill Amber in the Matsukawa Zone Mausoleum, dropped by the Level 24 Headless Golem elite after you reach the upper Matsukawa Colony route.

Key Resurrection Incense is one of the most useful early survival tools for Koo because it lets Emma automatically resurrect when her HP reaches 0. You can miss it if you push through the Matsukawa Colony route without clearing the Mausoleum hall, so grab it as soon as the Matsukawa Zone path opens.

Resurrection Incense effect and early availability

Item Details
Type Koo Skill Amber
Location Matsukawa Zone, inside the Mausoleum
Enemy drop Level 24 Headless Golem elite
Effect Emma automatically resurrects if her HP reaches 0
Earliest practical availability Once the Matsukawa Colony upper route to the Mausoleum is open

This is a Koo Skill Amber, not a consumable. The pickup comes from an elite fight inside the Mausoleum, after you climb through the upper platforms of Matsukawa Colony and reach the camp outside the hall.

QUICK WIN

Activate both campfires on the climb before entering the Mausoleum so a failed elite attempt does not send you back through the full platform route.

Headless Golem fight and Skill Amber drop

The Mausoleum encounter is a three-enemy fight centered on the Level 24 Headless Golem. Its minions include a Heavy Golem, so do not treat the room like a quick pickup run once combat starts.

If you want a cleaner opening, keep some distance and shoot the elite first so you can pull pressure toward the Headless Golem instead of immediately brawling with the full pack. Once the elite is defeated, the Skill Amber: Resurrection Incense pickup appears in the hall.

Using Resurrection Incense after pickup

Picking up Resurrection Incense only adds the Skill Amber to your options. To actually benefit from it, open Koo’s skill menu and have Koo learn and equip the skill.

Its effect is simple: if Emma’s HP reaches 0, she automatically resurrects. The available item text does not give extra values such as restored HP, charges, cooldown, or range, so build around the revive itself rather than an assumed number.

Nearby Mausoleum pickups after Resurrection Incense

Pickup How to get it
Locked chest loot Enter Left, Down, Right, Up on the directional puzzle to loot items including Ancient Books and Decayed Charms.
Memories document Check the body in the back room to read Memories….
Dragon Vein Shrine Interact with the shrine in the back room to discover the Dragon Vein Shrine.

After the Skill Amber is secured, the back room of the Mausoleum has a few optional rewards. These are worth collecting while you are already there, but they are not required for Resurrection Incense.

Resurrection Incense vs Resurrection Censer

Resurrection Incense and Resurrection Censer are different things. Resurrection Incense is the Koo Skill Amber from the Headless Golem elite, while Resurrection Censer is a separate resurrection-related craftable item/manual.

Do not look for this Skill Amber in a merchant inventory. For this early route, Resurrection Incense is a drop from the Mausoleum elite fight, not a purchase.
