Dance Attire stats and best use
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Defense | 39 |
| Spirit Stone Slots | 6 |
| Enemy Awareness | Low |
| Flame Resistance | 60 |
| Lightning Resistance | 60 |
Dance Attire is not the biggest raw-Defense armor you can wear at this point, but its value comes from flexibility. The six Spirit Stone Slots let you tune the build around missing defense, resistances, or utility, while Low enemy awareness keeps it lighter and stealth-friendlier than heavier pieces.
The 60 Flame Resistance and 60 Lightning Resistance make it especially useful when you want coverage against elemental threats without giving up slot space. If the lower base Defense bothers you, one slot can go toward a defensive Spirit Stone while the remaining slots still keep the armor highly customizable.
Open the Strongbox beside the Wandering Merchant before leaving the area, because Dance Attire is easy to miss if you treat the merchant as the only point of interest.
Do not buy Dance Attire from the Wandering Merchant

The Wandering Merchant is only the landmark for the pickup. Dance Attire is not purchased from him, and you do not need to complete a trade or quest to get it.
Before pushing deeper into the Fuji Frontier Zone, look beside the merchant and open the Strongbox. That is the container that gives you the armor immediately.
Armor to watch for after Dance Attire
If you like the way Dance Attire plays, keep an eye out later for Ornate Robe, which follows a similar low-awareness, elemental-resistance style with stronger late-game value.
Amber Breastplate is another piece worth watching because it also offers six Spirit Stone Slots. It is a good alternative when you want the same kind of build flexibility but are shifting toward a different defensive setup.
