Anime Breaker has finally received the long-awaited Update 3.5 on 7 October 2026, with a new game mode, new magic mechanics, and a pile of quality-of-life bug fixes that you may have been encountering over the last few weeks.
The most important update in version 3.5 is the Magic Tower addition; it completely changes the weapons meta and hero roles. Besides the Tower, you will now see a much-needed sorted inventory with proper banners and nameplates.
From this guide, you can easily pinpoint where you need the new upgrades, how to play the Tower game mode, and how to get the Magic Knight Amulet. Let’s get right into it.
New game mode – Magic Tower raids
The center of the 3.5 Update is that you get a completely new Tower game mode, with 100 floors and 3 types to pick from: Fire, Air, and Water. To find the Magic Tower, you need to have unlocked Clover Village in Anime Breaker. You can easily switch between the towers from the left edge of the screen. It allows you to create or join a Tower Hub, which is the access point to Tower Raids. Here are the key mechanics to keep in mind before you begin with Tower mode:
- You have to create or join a Tower Hub to access the mode.
- You will require the Magic Tower Key before you can enter the mode.
- To enter a tower, you need the Spirit of its Element. (Example: for the fire tower, you need to collect the fire spirit)
You can find the Magic Tower key during Clover Raids.
After you enter the Magic Tower, you will come across enemies of all types and levels higher than you saw in Clover or Alien raids. But with high-level enemies and 100 floors to conquer, you will receive eminent rewards. These are some of the expected rewards from Magic Tower (chance of drops may vary):
- Spirit Orbs
- Magic Amulet
- Magic Scrolls
- Magic Coins
- Each tower drops a Grimoire page of its element
There are new achievements every 10 floors of each tower too, so you are getting something at every checkpoint, which makes this mode far more engaging than the last update.
Magic Companions, Spirits, and Grimoires
You can now collect 3 Spirits (Fire, Air, and Water) and their twelve Grimoire pages as a progression markup. Each Grimoire page increases your multipliers, so this becomes important when you head for Tower raids.
The Spirits drop from Sea Dragon, Crimson Lion, and Undefeated Lioness. Once you have them, start hunting their pages in the matching element’s Magic Tower. Pages are not revealed when you begin the raids. You will receive and uncover them one by one. You will require a Magic Scroll to reveal and start collecting them. Magic scrolls are chance drops in the Magic Tower raids.
After that, you start rolling Spirit Orbs on the Grimoire pages. There are 6 tiers per page, and re-rolls do not lower the tiers once achieved. You can go up or stay the same. Spirit Orbs also drop in the tower, and you can auto-roll several pages at once. Keep in mind that auto-rolling stops when the page hits the maximum tier.
Magic Knight Amulet and progression
Magic Knight Amulet is a new amulet that drops in every Magic Tower. You build it in the Amulet Building. It has pity, and it is shared across all the towers. So even if you switch towers between Fire, Water, or Wind, your progress toward unlocking the amulet stays consistent.
Besides the Amulet and its aquisition, there is a separate Magic Progression system that also boosts your multipliers when you level it.
Keep in mind that during this leveling up and rolling, there is a chance of failure. Magic coins are used to level up, and you can collect them during your Tower raids. To check your magic progression, go to the Magic Knight Hub in the Clover Village.
Quality of life updates that help
Inventory got cleaned up and sorted. Materials are now grouped by type, and Clovers show first in the materials tab. Teleport list now puts game modes last and keeps all the important destinations up front.
Hero Passives got a real upgrade. You can now roll up to three heroes at once. You pick a slot on the left of the Hero Passives menu; two slots are free, and the third costs 5K Emeralds. Each slot uses a Spin Manager spin. This is going to speed up passive grinding a lot in the long run.
You can now double-click on any player’s profile to check their complete stats. It also works in the Guild Manage Member screen. Last but not least, game mode invites finally show the difficulty. You will see things like “Time Trial: Easy” to know what you’re joining beforehand.
How to progress in Anime Breaker version 3.5
Update 3.5 added a new vertical (literally) to Anime Breaker. Magic Companion and Magic Towers give you something to chase and scale along with basic progression. You should begin by grabbing the Magic Tower key from the Clover Raids. Complete the Tower levels and keep on progressing towards the Magic Knight Amulet, and ease out on the passive re-rolls.
Prioritize Grimoire pages and orbs early because those multipliers compound through the levels. Collect the spirits first, then go for the amulet, making switching between tower raids much easier. Go collect those Spirits and start climbing!
