Android is working on a clearer way to handle keyboards that are not fully supported. Instead of simply preventing an input method from being enabled, the upcoming warning explains the possible compatibility problem and gives you the choice to proceed.

We found the new dialog text while examining SystemUIGoogle from Android beta build cp41.260831.007 on a Pixel 10 Pro Fold. We could not surface the warning in the app yet.

Android will flag unsupported keyboards before they are enabled
