Palworld 1.0 has four Lunaris Effigies: one near the Free Pal Alliance tower at 59, -291, one on Twilight Dunes island at -148, -47, one under a Frostbound Mountain statue at 245, 74, and one beside a Scars of War lava pool at 362, 29.
The Lunaris Effigy is one of Palworld’s rare Pal Effigies, and in the 1.0 build there are exactly four of them scattered across the map. They don’t move and they don’t reroll — each sits at a set coordinate in a different biome, from the snowy tundra to a volcanic basin. Below is every location, the landmark to aim for, and the route that ties the four stops together.

All four Lunaris Effigy locations at a glance
| Effigy | Where to look | Coordinates |
|---|---|---|
| Lunaris Effigy 1 | Pointed rock above the Free Pal Alliance tower, past the bridge | 59, -291 |
| Lunaris Effigy 2 | Offshore rock in Twilight Dunes, on stone by the water | -148, -47 |
| Lunaris Effigy 3 | Beneath the Frostallion statue on Frostbound Mountain | 245, 74 |
| Lunaris Effigy 4 | Beside a lava pool in Scars of War, near a tower | 362, 29 |
The first effigy sits closest to the early-game area, so most players grab it on the way past and pick up the other three as a loop through the desert, tundra and volcanic biomes.
Before you hunt down each effigy

They also give off a soft glow, which is why most players find the trip faster after dark — a bright statue on a dim hillside is far easier to spot than one washed out by daylight.
Run the whole route at night on a flying mount — the effigies glow after dark, and several sit on cliffs or offshore rocks you’d otherwise waste time climbing to.
Twilight Dunes effigy: reaching the offshore rock
The second effigy sits out over the water at the edge of the desert, so a glider or flying mount saves you a long swim.
Head into Twilight Dunes

From the Free Pal Alliance area, travel northwest into the desert biome and fast-travel to Anubis Dunes.
Cross to the offshore rock

Glide or fly to the small island just northwest of Anubis Dunes, out at -148, -47.
Claim it above the stone

The effigy rests on exposed stone in front of the water near the island’s center — interact to claim it.
Frostbound Mountain effigy under the Frostallion statue
This one is easy to walk straight past because it’s tucked beneath a statue rather than sitting out on open ground.
Travel to Frostbound Mountain

Fast-travel into the snowy tundra near the Sibelyx Alpha Boss.
Find the Frostallion statue

Make your way to 245, 74, where a large stone Frostallion statue stands.
Check beneath the base

Approach the statue from below and look directly under its base — the effigy is there, not up top — then claim it.
Scars of War effigy beside the lava pool
The final effigy is deep in the volcanic biome, so pack heat-resistant gear before you set out.
Head into Scars of War

From Frostbound Mountain, travel southeast into the volcanic zone and make for the tower that marks the area.
Follow the lava channels

Move toward 362, 29 and trace the lava flows until you reach a small basin.
Grab it by the pool

The effigy stands on the rock edge right beside the lava pool — claim it to complete the set.
Spending your effigies on Sphere Tracking
There’s no fight or puzzle for the payoff. Carry the effigies to a Statue of Power or an Abandoned Church and interact with it to invest them into Sphere Tracking. That upgrade adds a homing pull to the capture spheres you throw, so a slightly off throw curves toward the Pal instead of sailing past — a genuine help when you’re chasing fast or flying targets.
Common mistakes that hide the effigies

The most common miss is the coordinates themselves. A pin like 59, -291 uses negative values, and it’s easy to drift into the wrong quadrant of the map — or land on the correct X and Y but at the wrong height. That first effigy sits on a narrow peak above the tower, well off the ground, which is exactly why so many players walk right underneath it.
The other trap is names. Don’t confuse the Lunaris Effigy with the Lunaris Pal — they share a word, but the effigy is a static statue you claim, not a creature you catch. And don’t treat the spots as random: each of the four sits at a fixed coordinate, so if one isn’t where you expect, you’re standing in the wrong place, not looking at a reroll.
