How to bypass CAPTCHAs automatically on iPhone
- Required: iPhone running iOS 16 or newer versions.
You can bypass CAPTCHAs automatically using the Automatic Verification feature. Here’s how you can enable the same on your device.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone and tap your Apple ID card at the top.
- Now tap Password & Security or Sign-In & Security.
- Scroll to the bottom and turn on the Automatic Verification toggle under “Advanced”.
- Once done, restart your device to make sure the changes are applied properly.
And that’s it! CAPTCHAs from websites visited on your device will now be automatically bypassed using Automatic Verification.

How does Automatic Verification work?
Automatic Verification is a complex process that happens between your device, your Apple ID, Apple servers, and website servers in the background. Whenever you visit a website with CAPTCHA verification, the site will automatically request your device for a verification token.
Your iPhone or iPad will then contact iCloud servers and request verification of the current device you’re using. The verification process then begins from Apple servers where your identity is verified and the servers contact the concerned website you visited.
Apple servers then request a verification token dedicated to your device based on the confirmation. This token is then delivered to your device via iCloud servers and the website automatically detects the same.
This in turn verifies that you’re a human and a CAPTCHA is thus never presented to you.
Is it safe to use Automatic Verification?
Automatic Verification is pretty safe to use. Your data or identity is never shared with the website and Apple severs to the verification with the website on your behalf.
The process happens in the background without the need for any interaction on your part, be it with your Apple ID or the concerned website.
In addition to this CAPTCHAs are designed to verify that you’re human. They aren’t used to protect sensitive information which is another aspect that makes Automatic Verification pretty safe to use.
