Asus has launched its much-awaited ZenFone AR in Malaysia. The company has taken it to Twitter to reveal the same. As for the pricing, the ZenFone AR will set you back by MYR 3,799 and will be up for grabs starting July 7th in Malaysia.
The ZenFone AR was launched in Philippines most recently and is expected to make it to the Indian shores very soon, perhaps on July 13 according to this leak.
In case you are wondering, the ZenFone AR was first announced in January during the CES event and is being made available only now.

The major highlight of the handset is its support for Google’s Tango (AR) and Daydream technologies which, in fact, makes it the first smartphone to offer support for both.
In terms of specs, the ZenFone AR houses a Snapdragon 821 chipset under-the-hood which is hooked to 8GB of RAM. Storage options include 64/128/256GB.

There’s a 23MP rear camera with 4-axis OIS, PDAF, 3x zoom, and depth & motion tracking sensors for AR. An 8MP shooter at the front takes care of selfies.
It sports a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. The entire package is backed by a 3,300mAh battery.
