Asus ZenFone AR, the Tango, and Daydream-enabled smartphone is now launched in the Philippines. The smartphone is priced at PHP 44,995.

For the unaware, the ZenFone AR was launched back in January this year and is yet to reach many of the major smartphone markets. The smartphone, besides being the world’s first Tango and Daydream-enabled is also the world’s first handset to feature 8GB of RAM.

We now have many handsets with such huge amounts of RAM including the OnePlus 5, though.

The Asus ZenFone AR houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821chipset with the graphics being taken care of by an Adreno 530 chipset. There’s a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED QHD display, 64/128/256GB of onboard storage. The device is also available with 6GB of RAM.

For photography enthusiasts, the device features a 23MP rear camera with 4-axis OIS, 3x zoom, PDAF, and depth, motion tracking sensors. At the front is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The smartphone ships with Android 7.0 Nougat and is backed by a 3,300mAh battery.
