January 19, 2019: If you own the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, a new MIUI 10 beta update with version 9.1.17 is rolling out right now. The OTA update may have not reached your phone, but we have the download link in the table below.

The MIUI 10 beta 9.1.17 update tags along a redesigned UI for the status bar, fixes for weather info displaying error in some languages,  translation error in Polish, spelling wrong of battery usage in security app, the battery percentage icon and network icon are very close, volume panel displays abnormally while casting, and more.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 sprung to life back in November 2016 and while it didn’t live up to the expectations of being a direct replacement to the ill-fated Samsung Galaxy Note 7 as the company clearly intended, it still stood out as one of the company’s high-end offerings of the year. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 MIUI 10 update

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 came preinstalled with Android Marshmallow. The device has since received two major OS upgrades in Android Nougat and Android Oreo. After Oreo, the Mi Note 2 will have reached its limit as far as major OS updates are concerned. This means that no official Android Pie update will arrive on the phone, but given how active the Xiaomi development community is, you won’t be short of custom ROMs that are not only based on Android Pie, but also the upcoming Android Q.
