The xFyro xS2 are a great pair of truly wireless earbuds with 8-hour battery life and IP67 waterproof and dustproof build for only $100. Also, the carrying case makes the xS2 very easy to carry around in your denim.
However, for music quality, the xS2 is average. The blame for that is the fit of the earbuds. While xFyro has made sure that the xS2 fits well in the ears to the point that it doesn’t fall off while in Gym or running a track, but the fit fails to provide an immersive music experience. We’ll discuss more about that later in the review.
? Connectivity is superb
Pairing xFyro xS2 to your phone is very simple and effortless. All you gotta do is plug out the earbuds from the case and then tap xFyro xS2 in the Bluetooth settings on your device. Once paired to your phone, it’ll automatically connect anytime you pull out the xS2 from its charging case.
Also, you don’t have to use both the earbuds to connect. You can only plug-in the right earbud and it’ll still connect to your phone effortlessly. And if you decide to use the second earbud as well while the first is connected, it’ll still connect both the earbuds automatically within a second.
?♀️ Fit is good, just not impressive
The greatest concern with using wireless earbuds is losing them while running, cycling, dancing, etc. It’s a real issue. If the earbuds don’t fit well into your ear canals, they will fall off pretty easily. And being truly wireless means there won’t be a rope to hold them from falling to the ground and maybe get lost forever.
Thankfully, the xS2 fit well into the ears. We have tried jumping and dancing wearing with these earbuds and (phew!) they don’t fall off. Unfortunately, though, we still wouldn’t say that xS2 offers great fit because they do not fully cover the ear canal and thus fail to give punchy bass and immersive music experience.
Also, despite the cool feel of wearing truly wireless earbuds, the design and fit of xS2 might make you look weird in the mirror. The xS2 are chunky and looks awful with all of its weight stuffed in your ears.
? Music quality is average
Like we said earlier, the music quality is average on the xS2. Mostly, because of the loose fit around the ear canal. You won’t feel the bass filing up your eardrums on the xS2. It’ll be loose and flat.
The treble is also faded. All you will feel is loud music playing in your ears without the right balance. Not saying that xS2 are poor, they are just average like the earphones that come bundled with your phone.
⚡ Charging case is the best
The charging case of the xFyro xS2 is one of its greatest features. It offers 50 hours of battery life for the earbuds, quick charges the earbuds (up to 75%) in 30 minutes, and most importantly, it’s very comfortable to carry around in the trouser pocket. Thanks to its slim design.
Pulling out and plugging in the earbuds into the charging case is easier and quick too since there’s no flip cover to open and close like most other wireless earbuds’ charging cases offer. The xS2 charging case offers a magnetic mount for the earbuds so they don’t fall off the case while carrying around.
?♀️ Waterproofing
This is the greatest feature of the xFyro xS2. You won’t find many wireless earbuds in the market that offer IP67 rated waterproof and dustproof build, and for $100, the xS2 is really rare.
That said, we wouldn’t advise you to actually jump into a pool wearing the xS2. Not only because there’s always the unfortunate chance of water damaging them, but also because they might easily fall off underwater and if they fall below 1 meter in the pool, the waterproof build won’t matter. Your xS2 will probably die before you are able to dive and find your lost earbud.
We guess it’ll be okay to wear xFyro xS2 while taking a shower or in the rain. Any place where water is only showering.

If you’re in the market looking for a budget wireless earbuds with great connectivity features, waterproof build, and good enough fit. The xFyro xS2 are a great pair of earbuds. But keep in mind that it doesn’t offer a good music experience. It’s average on music quality.
