The Wreck of Laterillo East Fort logbook is in the fort camp reached by taking the left gate from the cow cart route, passing under the left waterfall, cutting through the cave path, then grabbing the logbook from the right side of the camp before returning via the white trail.
The Fort Logbook sits on the right side of the fort camp in the eastern Wreck of Laterillo route. This is a carry-and-extract objective, so picking it up is only the middle of the job: you still need to get it back out safely.
Wreck of Laterillo East Fort logbook spot

Your destination is the fort camp beyond the forest, waterfall, cave, and ledge route from the main camp. Once you enter the camp, look to the right side for the Fort Logbook.
KEY!Treat it like cargo, not a normal collectible. Once someone has the logbook, the run should shift toward extraction instead of slow looting, because the objective has to be carried back toward the cow cart or rowboat route.

Route hazards before the fort camp
| Hazard | What |
|---|---|
| Enemies in the forest | Keep moving unless your team can clear them quickly. |
| Bird on the rock | Be ready near the rock, but do not expect it every run. |
| Ditch on the left | Stay centered when the path bends left after the forest climb. |
| Thin ledges | Slow down, because falling makes you circle back around. |
| Drop after the ledges | Expect a small hit of fall damage and keep descending. |
The route is mostly a landmark trail, but the risky parts are the narrow crossings and enemy pockets. Treasure on the way can be worth grabbing when it appears, but those pickups vary, so do not build the route around them.
Send one player straight for the Fort Logbook while the rest handle enemies and optional treasure so the extraction does not stall.
Fast return path after picking up the Fort Logbook

How to return from the Wreck of Laterillo East Fort logbook
After taking the logbook, use the back-corner drop and ladders to reconnect with the white trail.
- Head to the back corner — From the logbook spot, move all the way to the back corner of the camp.
- Find the fencing area — Go to the fencing area at the back of the fort camp.
- Drop down left — Jump down to the left from the fencing area to leave the fort quickly.
- Climb the hill — Go up the hill to the left after the drop.
- Keep rocks on your left — Continue through with the rocks on your left side.
- Ignore the unclimbable slope — When you see the slope ahead, skip it and move right instead.
- Use the two ladders — Climb the two ladders straight ahead to get back up.
- Join the white trail — At the top, connect with the white trail and turn left.
- Follow the trail back — Keep following the white trail toward the rowboat route.
- Return to the rowboat — Use the rowboat to make it back to the main ship if you have not already met the cow cart.
If you meet the cow cart on the way back, place the Fort Logbook in it and continue toward extraction. That lets the carrier stop babysitting the item and gives the crew room to grab nearby treasure on the way out.
Co-op handling for the East Fort logbook
In online play, split the job early. One player should focus on reaching and carrying the Fort Logbook, while the others clear enemies, watch the ledges, and collect any treasure that appears along the route.
Do not wait around for every treasure arch or chest if the logbook carrier is exposed. Treasure spawns on this route can vary, so treat them as optional pickups and make the extraction the priority once the logbook is in hand.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where exactly is the East Fort logbook in Wreck of Laterillo?
It is inside the fort camp, on the right side after you enter from the cave-and-ledge route.
Which waterfall do you go under?
Use the left waterfall when you reach the pair of waterfalls after crossing the left gate bridge and forest path.
What is the fastest way back after getting the logbook?
Leave through the back corner fencing area, drop down left, climb the hill, use the two ladders, then follow the white trail left toward the rowboat route.
Do treasures on this route always spawn?
No. The treasure arch and other pickups seen along the path can vary between runs, so grab them when they appear but do not rely on them.
Is there a safer way to handle this in co-op?
Yes. Assign one player as the logbook carrier and let the rest of the team handle enemies and optional loot so the carrier can keep moving toward extraction.
