Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor, recently announced the all-new Honor 7X. This is the successor to the Honor 6X from last year, which makes it a mid-ranger. It was announced at an event in Beijing, China, last week and is already available for pre-order in China.
The Honor 7X comes with a 5.93-inch FullView display, which means that it has very slim bezels. The display features an aspect ratio of 18:9 with a 2160 x 1080 resolution. The display is protected by 2.5D curved glass, while the rest of the device is all metal. It’s not a water-resistant device, but comes with a lot of tips and tricks, even for things as simple as a screenshot, to give you a pretty friendly software that albeit might fail to impress you with its colorful interface.
Powering the smartphone is the Kirin 659 chipset that is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32/64/128GB of internal storage. The phone also includes an expandable microSD slot that supports up to 256GB. In the camera department, the 7X includes a dual-camera setup with one 16MP sensor and another 20MP one. At the front, there’s an 8 MP selfie camera. A 3,340mAh battery with Huawei’s SuperCharge tech is available as well.
Huawei will ship the Honor 7X with Android 7.1 Nougat, and you get three color choices: Midnight Black, Platinum Gold, and Aurora Blue.
