Ahem! Ahem! Looks like WhatsApp will soon have its own built-in mini photo-sharing website similar to Instagram. Appalled by the scandalizing news? Well, calm down! We are just kidding.
But yes, WhatsApp is bringing a really cool feature regarding photos (that they probably forgot to add in its previous builds) to its mobile app. Facebook, which owns WhatsApp recently introduced the live status/story feature that is primarily based on photos and videos to all its apps, but there is one feature that is present in every other app but missing from WhatsApp – the filters. So to be on par with others, WhatsApp will soon have filters. You will be able to add filters to photos, videos and even GIF’s that you send via the platform.

We can’t vouch for the authenticity of the same, but Twitter account @WABetaInfo which keeps track of WhatsApp change logs and is the first one to reveal new and hidden features of WhatsApp has confirmed the same in its recent tweet. As of now, we don’t know how many filters or what kind of filters will WhatsApp have, but we are assuming it could be the usual basic filters.
In addition to this, WhatsApp will soon get a feature to revoke or unsend the message. We are expecting the feature to roll out this month.
