Gamers have eagerly been awaiting the release of Chapter 2, Season 5 of Epic Games’ Fortnite. On December 2 the developers released the latest season along with new quests, bounties, Baby Yoda, and much more.
Among features added to the game this season, Epic Games has added something called the Fortnite Crew Pack. Since the mammoth Nexus War event, the developers kept gamers hooked with the announcement of the new subscription offer.
On their official page, they released the details of what was to come for those wanting to join the Fortnite Crew. Before you do end up spending the money at the beginning of the season, here is all that you need to know about the Fortnite Crew Pack subscription.

What is Fortnite Crew Pack Subscription?
The newly released Fortnite Crew Pack Subscription appears to be Epic Games’ push away from microtransactions in the game. The monthly subscription that the developers are calling “The Ultimate Fortnite Offer”, will give subscribers monthly bundles of exclusive items and more. Players have to pay a monthly subscription fee to become a part of the Fortnite Crew.

How much is Fortnite Crew Subscription?
To become a part of the Fortnite Crew you have to pay a monthly subscription fee of $11.99. The amount will be billed every month till you choose to cancel the subscription. You can subscribe to the pack from any of the supported platforms. The platform from which you make the subscription will be considered the Primary Platform and it cannot be changed.

What do you get in the Fortnite Crew Pack?
Epic Games had already announced the perks of subscribing to the Fortnite Crew. Fortnite Crew will get:
- Exclusive bundles including an outfit and at least one accessory. These exclusive items will not be available to non-Crew players. Every month Fortnite Crew subscribers will get a new bundle.
- Fortnite Crew Packs will have the current season’s battle pass and future battle passes as they become available. The battle passes can be used to get battle rewards by playing the game. If a player already has this season’s battle pass then they can get a 950 V-Bucks refund in their account for it.
- Each month the Fortnite Crew Subscribers will get 1000 V-Bucks with which they can make in-game purchases from their Primary Platform.

How can you become Fortnite Crew?
To become a part of the Fortnite Crew you have to subscribe to the pack. You can do so by following these simple steps:
First, you need to go to the Item Shop or Battle Pass purchase screen.
In the store, you need to scroll to find the Fortnite Crew Pack.
Clicking on the pack will begin the transaction process by showing you the monthly subscription amount that has to be paid. You have to click the Join Fortnite Crew button to proceed.
You will be taken to the payment page where you have to first select the payment method. 
Once you have entered the payment details you need to press the Checkout button to go to the checkout page.
On the checkout page, you can finally press the Place Order button to initiate your subscription.
The amount will be deducted from your account at the beginning of each billing cycle till you discontinue your subscription. You can also change your billing information anytime you want.
What happens if you unsubscribe from Fortnite Crew?
You can choose to end your subscription at any point in time. When you unsubscribe from the pack you will continue being a part of the Fortnite Crew till the end of the billing period. Once your subscription period ends you will stop receiving the exclusive items and V-Bucks. However, you will still be able to use the items that you have already received in previous months.
Is Fortnite Crew Pack Subscription worth it?
For those who do not mind spending money on in-game purchases, the Fornite Crew Pack Subscription is definitely worth it. The items that Fortnite Crew will get cannot be received by any other means in the game. Even if you choose to subscribe later, the game will eventually make older items available for you. For $11.99 you will be getting exclusive items as well as V-Bucks to buy more items.
Exclusive Fortnite Crew bundle available now
Epic Games has already given a glimpse of the bundle that will be available to players in the month of December if they subscribe. Along with the Cosmic Llamacorn Pickaxe accessory, subscribers will get the Galaxia Skin. The Fracture World Backbling is also a part of the December 2020 exclusive Fortnite Crew bundle. Future bundle details are yet to be announced.
