Sony Xperia XA1 has been launched in Canada and gone up for sale at the Canadian carrier Videotron. The camera phone from Sony made its debut in February along side Xperia XA1 Ultra at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona.
Videotron is selling the Sony Xperia XA1 in two color options — Black and White. As a promotional offer, the carrier is giving away a Sony XB550ap headset worth $79.99 absolutely free with the Sony phone.
The carrier is offering the Sony Xperia XA1 to consumers attached with its Basic, Plus and Premium plans. However, buyers can opt for a monthly plan of $49.95 for 24 months with zero downpayment.
The Xperia XA 1 comes with a 5-inch HD display powered by MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core processor. The phone packs in 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage expandable upto 256GB using a microSD card. There’s a 2300mAh battery to keep the lights on which should just last you for the day. It is shipped with Android 7.0 Nougat.
The main USP of the phone is its camera. It flaunts an impressive 23MP rear camera with Exmor RS sensor for mobile and an F2.0 lens and a modest 8MP front shooter with a 23mm wide-angle lens for great selfies. The phone is endowed with a special feature which detects the palm of your hand to easily capture perfect selfies.
