Verizon pushes update to HTC 10 with November security patch

The Verizon HTC 10 is now receiving an update with November security patch. The update comes with software version 2.41.605.36 and is rolling out over-the-air as we speak. To get the update, make sure you’re running the most recent software version 2.41.605.30 on your HTC 10.

Also, since this is a staged rollout, it might take some time before the update reaches to your device automatically. In that case, you can manually check for an update from your phone’s Settings » About phone menu. And if it doesn’t work as expected, you can also force your phone to download the latest OTA updates using this trick.

HTC has also confirmed Android Oreo update for the HTC 10. However, the update will only begin to roll out late in Q1 of 2018. Until now, the Taiwanese manufacturer has released Oreo update for HTC U11 and U11 Life Plus.
