Recently, there were reports suggesting that the Nexus 6 will go on sale on US carrier Verizon this week. There were claims that the device with the Verizon branding and Android 5.1 Lollipop along with VoLTE support will be going official.
Now, there is evidence for the same as a Reddit user Mh1781 came up with an image as shown below. This corresponds to the previous reports hinting that Nexus 6 is coming soon. As per a Phandroid report citing sources, the arrival of the Nexus 6 smartphone on Verizon and its pricing details have got confirmed.
Going by the report, the Nexus 6 smartphone will be available via Verizon Wireless’s official website from March 12 and the retail stores from March 19. When it comes to the pricing, Verizon will provide Nexus 6 for $249 with a two-year contract and $699 without a contract. Under the Verizon Edge plan, the device will be available for $29.16 per month. The carrier will be listing the 32 GB Midnight Blue variant of the Nexus 6 for sale.
The report goes on stating that as the Nexus 6 will be based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, we can expect the other Nexus devices to also receive the update in the coming days. Anyways, we need to wait for an official confirmation from Google and Verizon regarding the same.
