Verizon LG V30 receives an OTA update with software version VS99610d

lg v30 update

The Verizon LG V30 is being updated to a new software version, but there aren’t any new changes. The update is a usual security update, and is available as an over-the-air download.

If you own the LG V30 on Verizon network, then you should be seeing this update very soon. It has the build number VS99610D and includes the September Android security patch. This update is probably more of a bug fixer update, more than a security one.

The last update for the Verizon V30, build number VS99610c, also installed the September patch on the device. So, this definitely addresses other bugs and fixes them. Apart from that, we do not have any details on the new update.

Before installing the update, make sure your device has more than 50 percent charge and is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. The V30 is still running Android Nougat, but the Oreo update should be arriving later this month.
