This OnePlus 5 video teaser nearly rounds up all official and unofficial leaks so far

We’ve got a couple of rumors on the OnePlus 5 to feed on for some time, but the YouTube video (see below) does a good job in summing up the device based on rumors and leaks so far.

To start with, as OnePlus official teased earlier today, the OnePlus 5 is could arrive in four color variants: black, gold, dark red and cyan or light blue. Up to the current gen OnePlus device, we haven’t had that many color options. Moving to the camera on the device, it has been heavily rumored to be a dual lens setup.

What’s more, OnePlus has officially confirmed that they are working with DxO — FYI, DxOMark is the popular benchmark for cameras — to produce an outstanding camera. Then again, until we get to see the camera’s picture quality for ourselves, it’s not much really.

Previous leaks also indicate that the OnePlus may feature faster storage in UFS 2.1, resulting in faster app launch and boot times. As for what could be inside the upcoming flagship, we’re going by an AnTuTu listing which turned up recently. The OnePlus is expected to rock the Snapdragon 835 with 6GB or 8GB of RAM along with a rumored QuadHD display. The battery on board may remain at an ample 3600mAh.

Obviously the device is expected to ship with Android 7.1.1 Nougat on board. But we’re more interested in knowing when Android O will make it the OnePlus 5. The launch of the device is also right around the corner and we’ll get to know the pricing then.

Thanks Waqar Khan!
