TELUS, one of the “Big 3” carriers of Canada, will be getting rid of both activation fees for new connections as well as renewal fees for exchanging older devices for new ones, which currently cost $35 and $25 respectively, in their “journey to put Customers First”.
Come October 15th, TELUS will be waving both fees permanently instead of doing it for a limited time, which is honestly a great move in the interest of the customers, and it should be only a matter of time till Rogers and Bell, TELUS’ biggest competitors in Canada, do the same.
Good going TELUS!
