The T-Mobile HTC U11 Life is now receiving the Android 8.0 Oreo update with software version 2.15.531.6. The update is 1.32GB in size and is rolling out over-the-air as we speak.
Since this is a staged rollout, it might take some time before the Oreo update reaches your T-Mobile HTC U11 Life. But be sure to check it manually from phone’s Settings » About phone menu. If that fails, you can also force your device to download latest OTA update using this trick.
Android 8.0 Oreo brings along a lot of new features such as AutoFill, Picture-in-picture mode, Notification dots, Instant apps, improved battery life, new emojis and a lot more.
Earlier this month, HTC released the Android Oreo update to the unlocked variant of HTC U11 Life. The update was released only days after the company’s 2017 flagship phone HTC U11 received Android 8.0 Oreo in the US.
