Fishing is an Alien Planet activity in Steal An Egg, part of the admin abuse and alien biome update. Your catches advance a reward track with currency, pets, and fishing equipment. This guide covers the fishing requirements, route, casting controls, and milestone rewards through 5,000 catches.
How to fish in Steal An Egg
You need the fishing rod from the Halloween update before making the trip. Have it ready to equip before you leave. The Trail Shop displays speed trails. Grey Trail has a speed price of $100.
Equip your fishing rod
Select your fishing rod and equip it before starting the journey.
Travel through the earlier biomes
Run forward through Jungle, Snow, Volcano, and Abyss Ocean, in that order, heading toward Alien Planet.
Open and browse Fishing Milestones
Open Fishing Milestones and scroll through its rewards before continuing into Alien Planet.
Continue into Alien Planet
Close the menu to resume traveling, then continue through Wisp and into Alien Planet.
Ready your rod at the pool
Approach the pool of water, select the rod in your inventory hotbar, and equip it again.
Talk to Alien Ferryman
Approach Alien Ferryman beside the purple boat at the water’s edge, alongside the river. Press E for Talk to check the fishing requirements.
Cast from the wooden pier
Walk onto the wooden pier over the water. At the Hold to Cast prompt, hold the casting input, then release it toward the fishing water.
Review your milestone targets
Reopen Fishing Milestones to see the catch thresholds and their rewards.

Every fish you catch contributes one point: the menu labels the conversion 1 Fish = 1 Point. The Fish Caught counter tracks your progress, while tiers you haven’t reached remain marked Locked.
The Kraken Rod earns a specific distinction in its in-game description: it’s the strongest alien rod. Your earned Void Pearls also have a use beyond the milestone track: you can spend them on additional upgrades.
