How to unlock the Sakura Incubator in Steal An Egg
Before any of this works you have to unseal the machine once, and it costs you a Crane.

Go to the Cherry Blossom zone
Head to the back of the Cherry Blossom zone, the final biome in the game, and find the sealed Sakura Incubator.

Hatch a Crane and clear the speed gate
The Crane is an epic pet that hatches from Cherry Blossom eggs, and you need at least 3.5 billion speed to steal eggs in this zone.

Submit the Crane to the Incubator
Keep the Crane in your inventory, hold it while interacting with the Incubator, and submit it — its size and mutations don’t matter, so use your smallest one.
STEP 4/4
Lock in the permanent unlock
You lose that Crane for good, but the Sakura Incubator stays unlocked from then on and this also opens the Great Bloom event in the zone.
Farm Sakura Crystals during Great Bloom, then mutate an egg
With the machine unlocked, the whole loop is timing the Great Bloom window, smashing trees for crystals, and charging an egg to roll it.
- Wait for the Great Bloom event — The Great Bloom fires in the Cherry Blossom zone about every 30 minutes — you get an on-screen notification when it begins, and the timer above the Incubator shows how long until the next one.
- Beat the ~3-minute clock — Each Great Bloom lasts only around 3 minutes, so park yourself in the zone before it starts instead of burning the window traveling across the map.
- Smash cherry blossom trees with the bat — Equip the baseball bat from your inventory and hit the cherry blossom trees to collect Sakura Crystals, the resource that charges eggs.
- Charge an egg to at least 100% — Keep an egg in your inventory, interact with the Incubator, submit the egg you want to mutate, and deposit Sakura Crystals until it reaches at least 100% charge — around 1,000 crystals.
- Press Mutate — Hit Mutate at 100% or higher and the roll lands Bloom about 97.5% of the time and Spirit Bloom about 2.5%.

You don’t have to stop at 100%. You can keep pouring crystals in up to the 150% maximum — roughly 1,500 crystals — and that’s the better play if Spirit Bloom is what you’re after, since the fuller charge tilts the roll toward the rare outcome.
Farm far more crystals than a single 100% charge before you start, so you can mutate several eggs back-to-back in one session — Spirit Bloom’s 2.5% roll only pays off across a lot of attempts.
Mistakes that waste your Sakura Crystals
The biggest trap is the state your egg is in. The Incubator can’t mutate a pet that’s already hatched, and it can’t touch an egg you’ve already placed down in your pen — so keep the eggs you actually want to mutate sitting in your inventory until you’re ready to use them.
Beyond that, the egg doesn’t have to be freshly stolen — any egg in your inventory works. And don’t show up under-farmed: if you arrive with fewer than about 1,000 crystals you can’t reach 100% charge, and an egg below that threshold won’t mutate at all.
