Sony has announced that the Xperia Go would be making its way to Canada this November, courtesy Fido. While Fido would be offering two color options- Black or White, customers wanting to go the unlocked route can pick up an exclusive Yellow edition – direct from a Sony store.

The Xperia Go might not be particularly impressive in the specs department, against the current crop of releases like the Galaxy Note 2 which will make a Canadian debut – Gangnam Style next week, LG Optimus G, or even the Optimus L9 – but what is particularly impressive about this midget-sized device is its water and dust-resistance capacity, over a 1 GHz dual-core engine, 512 MB RAM, 8GB Internal storage, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, through a 3.5-inch display.

The Xperia Go will be available this November through Fido, and for those of you who prefer the great outdoor adventure, this rugged device should be worth a close look. While there are no pricing or availability details made known at the moment, this short video should help you decide if the Xperia Go is worthy company on your weekend adventure trip.

Tough enough for you?
