It wouldn’t be news to you that Qualcomm is working on a new SoC for the high-end devices. The upcoming SoC that goes by the moniker Snapdragon 845 is a successor to Snapdragon 835 processor, which made its debut with Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.
Last month, Snapdragon 845 made its first appearance on the Qualcomm’s website and since then we are hearing many rumors about the SoC. While the first one suggested that Qualcomm would use 7nm process to build Snapdragon 845, another suggested that Qualcomm would go with the current 10nm process.
Another rumor about Snapdragon 845 suggested that Qualcomm would use its latest X20 modem in 845 processor. Looks like there is another leak that also suggests X20 modem for Snapdragon 845 processor.

Posted by the popular tipster, Roland Quandt, the leak suggests that new Qualcomm X20 modem will make its debut with Snapdragon 845 processor. Interestingly, Qualcomm X20 modem will have 1.2GBit/s downlink speed.
In case you are wondering about the launch date of Snapdragon 845 SoC, it is expected to release in January 2018. Further, LG’s upcoming flagship device LG G7 might be the lucky device to debut with Snapdragon 845.
