A set of leaked images on the WWW today reveals that Samsung is looking to hire employees in Korea, dedicated to Galaxy S8 camera lens production. And Samsung is earmarking 2.7M won monthly payment for this job, which roughly translates into 2275 USD.
It does’t say much but looks like Samsung is now decided on the camera, and is looking to increase the production to meet the Galaxy S8 release in March, with announcement expected on Feb 26.
The Galaxy S8 Specs are being rumored a lot too these days, and it’s said that the device will harbor a dual camera on its back, but recent tidbits pointed to that plan being scrapped at Samsung, in favor of traditional single camera. Maybe this has to do with S8 variant, as we may find a single camera on the Galaxy S8, while dual camera on the Galaxy S8 Plus.
The Galaxy S8 would probably become the first device on the planet to sport Bluetooth 5.0 tech, while it’s said that there will be no flat screen Galaxy S set this time around. Rather, both the S8 and S8 Plus will have curved display like Note 7, and will come on size of 5.7″ and 6.2″.
We expect the Galaxy S8 to be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor in US, while Exynos 8895 or Exynos9 chipset for the rest of the world looks fitting. Galaxy S8 could feature no physical button on the front, and its 3D display itself would feature the fingerprint scanner.
The Galaxy S8 might feature 6GB of RAM, like the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T, and may sport massive 256GB storage. While the Harmon Kardon is a no go for Galaxy S8 — it’s rumored for Galaxy S9 in fact — we hope Samsung would still give the Galaxy S8 audio a proper boost over S7, and taking some notes from LG V20’s books would only help.
And fo course, the Galaxy S8 would come pre-installed with Samsung’s Nougat update, in case you’re wondering. In fact, the Android 7.1.1 update is what we will see on the S8.
