October 28, 2019: Samsung has released an update for the Galaxy Tab 4 (Wi-Fi) in Europe. The update package, which is dubbed as T830XXU4BSJ2, brings the November 2019 security patch. The package comes ahead of schedule, so, we still don’t have the exact security patch details. However, as November is just around the corner, relevant details are expected to be available sooner than later.
October 23, 2019: Tab S4 users, who are on Verizon, have started receiving a software update. The OTA, which carries software version T837VVVRS3BSI1, comes off as a regular security update and is only bringing the October 2019 security patch.
October 19, 2019: The Tab S4 users at AT&T are receiving a new software update as build T837AUCS2BSJ2 that installs the latest October 2019 security patches on the tablet. It’s sized about 196MB.
September 07, 2019: The Tab S4 tablet at Verizon is receiving July security update as an OTA. The software version of the OTA update is T837VVRU2BSH2 and it was released on September 5th.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 Android 10 update (One UI 2.0)

By rolling out Android Pie update even for the budget range of devices that were 2 years old, Samsung has proven that it takes good care of its products. Tab S4 was launched in August 2018 and is only a single update and a year old.
Hence, we fully expect Samsung to release the Android 10 update for the Tab S4. As the Tab S4 won’t be among the first few devices to get Samsung’s Android 10 update, called One UI 2.0, you may expect the update to arrive in Q2 2020.
Though, there are slim chances of the update being released earlier than expected because Samsung seems to be doing very well in the update department at the moment by already handing out T-Mobile Android 10 build for testing on Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10.
