Samsung’s Android 10 update took its time coming, but it’s finally available, at least in Korea. Called One UI 2 beta, the update is available for the S10, S10+, and S10e handsets in Korea. The initial rollout is limited to select 1000 users who participated in the program via Samsung Members app. More users could be included in the rollout in the next few days.
The Android 10 update is expected to be available for the Galaxy S10 users in Germany and the US (Sprint, T-Mobile and Unlocked variants) from Monday, October 14th, when the interested users will be able to join the One UI 2 program via the Samsung Members app. We expect the update to go live in the UK as well as India shortly thereafter.
The Android 10 update arrives as software version ZAJ6 for the Korea S10 handsets. Yesterday, the update got leaked for a few users in Europe, thanks to which we also got a good look at the One UI 2 features.
In related news, Android 10 for Note 10 is expected to come out on October 21, while both the Galaxy S9 and Note 9 look set to get Android 10 next month.
