The Samsung Galaxy J5 2017 just received certification from the WiFi Alliance. The device will be coming with model number SM-J530L, and will be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow as per the certificate issued by WiFi Alliance.
Along with the SM-J530L, a couple of other model numbers SM-J530K and SM-J530S, also received certificate from the WiFi authority. Apparently, all these three models of Galaxy J5 2017 will be headed to Korea.
The international variant of Galaxy J5 2017 (SM-J530FM) also received certification from WiFi Alliance past month. But what continues to disappoint about the listings is the fact that they all mention the device running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, not Nougat.
Anyway, other than the WiFi Alliance certificates, Galaxy J5 2017 haven’t made any official appearance as of yet on any other certification authorities. Also, there haven’t been any leaks/rumors on the device’s specs yet. But we’ll be keeping our eyes open for any updates. Stay tuned!
