Samsung has officially announced the launch date of its recently released flagship smartphones Galaxy S8 and S8+ in India. The devices will be released this month itself in the country, to be precise on April 19th.
The announcement was made by Samsung India via its Twitter handle. It uploaded a teaser video showing the transformation of Samsung phones from tall bezels to the bezel less Infinity Display. The video ends with the caption Galaxy S8 / S8+ Coming Soon.

After launching the phones on March 29th, Samsung started taking pre-orders in US, Korea, China and Malaysia. While the global release is slated for April 21st, it seems the S8 and S8+ will make their way into India even before that.

Meanwhile, these flagship devices are being received pretty well by customers. The first batch of the Galaxy S8+ 6GB got sold out in Korea within 5 days of its availability. Again, Galaxy S8 and S8+ shattered all the previous pre-order records with more than 550,000 registrations in just 2 days in its home country.
Samsung reported that it has received 728,000 pre-order registrations for both the Galaxy S8 and S8+ combinedly as of April 12th. The pre-orders stop on April 17th and at the present rate, it is touted to touch the 1 million mark by then.

well u hv to admit one thing about samsung, they never waste time to launch it’s flagship devices globally after they become official, even after launch it’s still hard to get ur hands on LG G6 coz of poor stock but it’s never a problem with samsung, they just start seeling their devices globally as soon as they become official, that’s why they hold a large share in smartphone market!!
