Optus HTC 10 Nougat and VoLTE release set for late February, under testing right now

Optus Australia has announced that the Android 7.0 update for the HTC 10 is under testing and is expected to finish by the end of this month. That means that users should start receiving the stable Nougat update in March.

Along with the Android 7.0 update, the HTC 10 on Optus Australia will also receive VoLTE support. The Nougat update for the HTC 10 has already been released in several regions across the world.

Earlier this month, the unlocked variant of the HTC 10 started receiving the Nougat update in Australia. It carried the build number 2.41.709.3 and weighed 1.38 GB in size. The update brought several new features, the latest security patches, and VoLTE support.

It is normal for carrier locked devices to receive an update late, and that has exactly been the case with the HTC 10. Optus Australia is also ready to release the Nougat update for the HTC One M9 very soon.
