HTC has started rolling out the Nougat update to HTC 10 devices in Australia. Arriving as build 2.41.709.3, the update weighs 1.38 GB and comes with the latest Android security patch by Google.
Once installed, your HTC 10 handset will start running the Android 7.0 Nougat OS. It is worth mentioning that besides the regular Nougat goodies, the update also includes the latest Android security patches, VoLTE/VoWiFi support and system enhancements for the device.
It’s a pretty late Nougat roll out from HTC considering the fact that the HTC 10 users in other regions including Canada, Europe, Thailand, Hong Kong got a taste of the sweet Nougat as early as last month.

In Europe, the update comes with software version 2.41.666.3 and is 1.26GB in size while Thailand is received the update as software version 2.41.709.3 and weighs in at 1.38GB. For HTC 10 users in Hong Kong, the Android 7.0 Nougat update arrives with software version 2.41.708.3.
Notably, HTC had halted the Nougat update for HTC 10 units in Mainland Europe due to some technical issue, which it resumed four days back on February 7th.

It is recommended to connect your devices to a WiFi network before hitting the download button. Also ensure that your HTC 10 device is over 50 percent charged and do not turn off your phone or remove the storage card until the update finishes.
