There are plenty of OnePlus 5 and 5T users that haven’t seen compelling reasons to make them ditch any of the 2017 phones in favor of the new kid on the block – OnePlus 6. And in fact, the company is giving this group more reasons to stick to their older handsets by adding features that are already on OnePlus 6 to both OnePlus 5 and 5T via software updates.
While both OnePlus 5 and 5T support portrait mode, this is only limited to the rear camera. It is only the latest OnePlus 6 that has a similar effect when using the selfie camera and since it was introduced via a software update, OnePlus will also be giving a similar treat to the 2017 duo in a future update.
