OnePlus 6 is no longer a rumor. The company, through the official OnePlus forum, has confirmed that works on the next flagship killer are already underway. The device also made a stop at the Wi-Fi Alliance recently, further adding weight to the rumor that its launch is around the corner.

Having already managed to produce handsets that are fast and smooth, the Chinese company has other ideas with regards the OnePlus 6. Apparently, this year’s focus is on creating a burden-less user experience that is flexible, light and quick.

OnePlus hints at making OxygenOS even better by getting rid of any unnecessary bloatware and intrusive notifications, thus eliminating any possible instances of lag or disturbance. Despite the many calls for OnePlus 6 to ditch the dreaded notch, the company says the phone’s design is heavily focused “on beauty in simplicity, with no unnecessary features added.”

In order to ensure that OnePlus 6 delivers a fast, smooth and burden-less user experience, the company has confirmed that it’ll be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset mated with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of non-expandable storage.

Of course, there should be a base model of 6GB RAM and we won’t be surprised if OnePlus 6 gets three storage options – 64/128/256GB.

OnePlus is expected to unveil the OnePlus 6 a little earlier than it did the OnePlus 5, which was announced in June 2017.
