Then we got a clear look at what could be the official press renders of the OnePlus 5. Followed by the press images was the news that the smartphone will go on sale right after the day of launch in China. A few hours later, OnePlus confirmed that the Indian launch of OnePlus 5 is scheduled for June 22 and that it will go on sale in India a few hours post the official launch.
And now, it’s almost confirmed that the OnePlus 5 will pack whopping 8GB of RAM alongside a 2.35GHz Snapdragon 835 chipset. Yes, you read that right! 8GB of RAM it is!
Now, does the smartphone require such huge amounts of RAM or not is a discussion for another day. But, know that it’s happening whether you like it or not.
The leak comes from none other than Evan Blass (@evleaks) himself. Apparently, the source code of the teaser landing page on Amazon India mentions the presence of 8GB of RAM.
