Followed by the press images was the news that the smartphone will go on sale right after the day of launch in China. A few hours later, OnePlus confirmed that the Indian launch of OnePlus 5 is scheduled for June 22 and that it will go on sale in India a few hours post the official launch.

And now, it’s almost confirmed that the OnePlus 5 will pack whopping 8GB of RAM alongside a 2.35GHz Snapdragon 835 chipset. Yes, you read that right! 8GB of RAM it is!

Now, does the smartphone require such huge amounts of RAM or not is a discussion for another day. But, know that it’s happening whether you like it or not.
