Only yesterday, the launch page for the upcoming OnPlus 5 went live revealing that the launch will happen on June 20. And now that the cat is out of the bag, the company is making most of the moment.
It revealed that the Indian launch will happen on June 22 in Mumbai earlier today. And now, it has spilled another bean.
A registration page for OnePlus 5 has just gone live on Amazon India today. While it reiterates the fact that the smartphone will be launched in India on June 22, at 2 PM in Mumbai, it further mentions that the smartphone will go on sale the same day at 4:30 PM. As usual, it will be available exclusively on Amazon.
Now, that’s definitely good news for folks who have been eagerly waiting to get their hands on the OnePlus 5.
Also, the page once again confirms that the device will house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset under-the-hood. A new rumor which showed up on the internet earlier today suggests that the OnePlus 5 will come in five color variants: Black, Blue, Green, Red, and Purple. An official press render of the OnePlus 5 also popped up on the internet yesterday.
