Update 3 (Sep. 15th, 2016): Fully working OnePlus 2 CM14 build (unofficial) now available.
  Update 2 (August 31st, 2016): Experimental build of CM14 for OnePlus X now available and OnePlus One gets Android 7.0 Nougat ROM (AOSP based).
  Update (August 27th, 2016): CM14 branch for OnePlus 3 is up on github, a flashable ROM should come soon.

Google has released AOSP sources for Android 7.0 Nougat, which is essential for AOSP based ROMs like CyanogenMod and others to build upon the latest release of Android.

OnePlus devices have long been known for their open policies and friendliness with stuff like TWRP, root, custom ROMs, MODs, etc. Heck! Even half of the OnePlus employees in the software team are also the maintainers of Paranoid Android ROM.

Anyway, as of now, there’s no news on CM14 ROM for OnePlus devices. But it won’t be long before CM14 surfaces for any of the OnePlus devices released so far.

We’ll be sure to update this post with downloads once CM14 is available for OnePlus devices. Stay tuned..

On a side note, AOSP based ROMs like CyanogenMod don’t come with Google services pre-installed. You need to install/flash a Gapps package separately on these ROMs to get Google services like Play Store, Play services back on your device.
