Nexus 10 Specs: What we know so far

With all the numerous leaks, and information on the Nexus 10 available from fragmented sources at the moment, we thought it would be a good idea to list out all the specs known so far, about this awesome piece of tech from Samsung, so that you have a single point of reference. Of course, none of this stands officially confirmed as yet, at least till Google tells all on October 29th. So here we go:

What we know so far about the Samsung Nexus 10:

  • 10.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and 298.9 PPI – dwarfing the iPad 3’s 264 PPI Retina display
  • Samsung Exynos 5250 SoC with two Cortex A15 cores and a Mali-T604 GPU for graphics
  • 2GB RAM / 16GB Internal Storage (Other options and expandable microSD slot not confirmed yet)
  • 5 MP Rear Camera with LED Flash / Front facing Camera
  • WiFi / NFC /Bluetooth 4.0
  • Dual speakers positioned at the front of the device
  • Micro USB, Micro HDMI
  • Ambient light sensor /Notifications LED
  • 3.5 mm headset jack
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on board with Multi-user support
Update: Our pals over at Droid-Life have put up a new About Tablet screenshot supposedly from the Nexus 10, which shows a Users option in the Settings menu – again indicating multi-user support.
Interestingly, the About Tablet screenshot we had picked earlier from Brief Mobile did not show the option of USers in the Settings Menu; however the Quick settings Grid did. Either ways, Multi-user support is likely to make its debut on the Nexus 10.

Like I said earlier, these have been collated from across various leaks that have come up over the past few days, including the latest one earlier today which had pics of the Nexus 10 in the flesh. For the moment, based on the details above, we think the Nexus 10 is the most powerfully specced tablet out there. We wish we knew something about the pricing, and are hoping Google puts out an awesome price to go with those awesome specs.
