Where can I play old Nerdle games?

The official website of the game www.nerdlegame.com is the only authentic source to play the original Nerdle game. It is also the only window for us at the moment to play older Nerdle games.

Although players of Wordle are spoiled rotten with an abundance of Wordle archives, Nerdlers haven’t quite received such a treasure chest… yet.

But that doesn’t matter at all because there is still an easy trick to turning time back in the Nerdle world. All you have to add is add a suffix of “yyyymmdd” (representing the date you want to jump to) to the game link www.nerdlegame.com/ in the exact format.

For instance, if you wish to play Nerdle from January 31, 2022, just enter www.nerdlegame.com/20220131, and hit go! It is your shortcut to playing any Nerdle from any given date on any web browser on your mobile or PC. Didn’t quite catch that? Check out our detailed article linked below to learn how to play older Nerdle games on the official page itself!

How do numbers and operators work in Nerdle?

Numbers and operators are the “letters” that you work with in the Nerdle to arrive at the equation. Just like in the word game, the frequency of occurrence, position, and order of occurrence of each independent object (numbers and operators) determine the fate of the game — that is your chances of finding the solution.

Even the seemingly innocuous “=” symbol could derail your guesses if you struggle to lock in on its correct position in the game early on.

Nerdle, much like Wordle, is a game of wits and presence of mind — “start” with the optimal equation, plan your consecutive moves with the clear goal of identifying the relevant objects, discarding the useless pieces with the help of fail-proof strategies to make the odds turn in your favor.

Worry not, it might sound intimidating, but, we have found out the perfect strategies and start words to help you make fruitful moves right off the bat.

Does Nerdle repeat numbers?

One of the questions that will almost instantly marquee through our head when we play our first Nerdle game is… “Can any of these numbers and operators repeat in the equation?”

We’ll satisfy your curiosity with a plain Yes. Yes, numbers and operators may repeat as many times as logically possible in any Nerdle equation. Now, comes the second part of the question, “How do you know if they repeat?” Of course, the answer is to rely on the feedback system of the game. Reflecting the schema for indicating repeated letters in Wordle, Nerdle also gives unique feedback (based on the characters you input) to enlighten you about the occurrence, recurrence, or position of each character. You can tune your moves to align with the feedback to optimize your moves. To get a better understanding of how repeated numbers or operators behave in Nerdle, check out the linked article below dedicated to the topic.

  1. Thanks for putting this together. For what it’s worth, there’s a typo in February 07, 2022 — 117/39=39. You have an extra number. I

  2. Weird because I just played (feb 8, 2022) and the solution was 5*3*2=30

    1. Weird, really. What was the game number, though? For us, 5*3*2=30 was the answer to Nerdle #21.

  3. These are wrong.

  4. I thought Wordle has a mobile app?

  5. Nerdle #14 — February 03, 2022 — 10×1-8=12
    should be10×1-8=2

    1. Thanks a ton, Mary.
      We will fix it soon.

  6. Today, Nerdle accepted one solution with the usual fanfare but then revealed another as if that was the one entered. The numbers are all the same but the solution was arrived at differently.

  7. If needle no1 is. 7*4-3=25
Then surely needle no24 35-6*5=145 and not 5
By that reckoning the answer to your first nerdle should be 7

  8. If nerdle no1 is. 7*4-3=25
Then surely nerdle no24 35-6*5=145 and not 5
By that reckoning the answer to your first nerdle should be 7

  9. For those not so sophisticated in math, or further away from school years, remember this simple rule. If * or / is used as a function, put your imaged parentheses around the numbers on either side of that function. That is one of the rules, but I had forgotten what “ordinary order”meant. In Nerdle
    3*4-1= 11…it is really. (3*4)-1=11.

  10. All the answers are wrong

  11. It ends on March 30th. Where is March 31st? And April 1st?

  12. You need to add instant nerdle!

  13. You need to add instant nerdle! I really need the answers!
