Motorola Moto G6 is one of the devices that hardly get to see regular software updates, but this doesn’t mean they never come. Those who own the U.S. variant of the handset are in line to receive an update that includes bug fixes and general performance improvements.

The release notes for this update have been detailed on the official software support page for the U.S. market, confirming that the rollout should commence soon.

While the changelog only talks about fixing bugs and improving the security of the device, it doesn’t go into the specifics of the bugs being fixed or even the security patch level. But with the device having received the January patch in the U.S. a few weeks ago, it’s likely that the upcoming rollout will upgrade the current security patch level.

It’s also possible that the update is still based on Android Oreo, with some users reporting that the update to Android Pie hasn’t arrived in the country despite Motorola U.S. detailing the release notes a while back.

Do let us know if and when you get the latest Moto G6 update and some of the noticeable changes apart from the provided changelog.
