The two year old LG L70 is getting CyanogenMod 14.1! After launching the phone with Kitkat 4.4.2 the bare bones device which featured 4GB of internal storage didn’t look like much. But what CyanogenMod does is make even a budget smartphone look and feel good.
The LG L70 in a way competed with Motorola’s budget offering, the original Moto E, but had the upper edge of having autofocus built into its camera. However, with the limited 4GB of storage and the bloatware that LG bundled with the L70, it was really a tight ship when it came to performance.
CM14.1 being a lightweight ROM helped with that issue and also featured added functionality at the same time. Having debloated the device too, this enables LG L70 users to install and run more apps on their devices.
